Depending on the manufacturer and model, the collar straps are usually made of durable lightweight nylon webbing or TPU. They are normally ¾ or 1 inch wide and can be adjusted to fit neck sizes from 10 to 24 inches. Some models can fit dogs with only a 6 ½ inch neck.
